[ Here we are at this place again-- Otome has to remind herself to eat, a little later in the day, so here she is. And there's Rita. ]

Oh-- hello, Rita.

[ Start off simple. ]

[rita's just grabbed a hot dog and was about to take a bite when she stops to acknowledge that greeting.]

Oh. Uh... Otome, right?

You remembered! It's been a while, hasn't it?

Yeah, I mean, you kinda stood out after the...

[the execution? actually, let's not talk about that.]

Never mind.

... Can't believe we're going through this crap again.

[momming]

[ ... yeah, she knows. ]

I was truly hoping this wouldn't happen.

Yeah. Even though there was plenty of reason to think it might... [frowning...]

At least we're more prepared this time.

[momming]

Here's hoping we'll be just as prepared for tomorrow, to learn the truth behind this.

Yeah... We know a lot more than last week. Like, what our time frame is, or how anyone who was wandering around at night isn't necessarily connected to the crime. Of course, it doesn't mean they aren't, either.
