Honestly, there's so much about this situation that defies basic reason, it's hard to tell what's plausible and what's obviously a load of crap.

So would I. I mean, I don't care if he's a talking bear. Whatever he is, I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind.

I should think he likely deserves it. And how should I address this future bear-punisher?

Otome Yanagiya. I've never scolded a bear before, but I do think I could do it if I tried.

Yeah? Guess we'll both have to give him hell, then.

[ She nods amicably-- because yeah, sounds about right. ]

Was there anything you learned beyond that? I mean, that you didn't suspect?

Hmm. One thing that kinda bugs me...

[she taps on something in her notes. it's kind of a pointless gesture, because her note-taking penmanship is completely illegible.]

It doesn't seem like we can get kicked out. If we do anything bad enough to warrant severe disciplinary action, we won't graduate... but we won't get to leave, either. That's what they seemed to be saying.

[ Wow, Rita already has the first trait to be a doctor down pat-- ]

So rebelling or doing anything that presumably would get us released from the school would just ensure we won't be able to leave at all... or something like that?

At the very least, we’d still be stuck here until graduation day. So it wouldn’t accomplish anything.

[rita looks pretty disappointed about that.]

Still, it's good to know. At least we know what not to try.
