... One of my best friends is a researcher who reminds me of you. She's really only interested in science and her mind goes about thirty miles a minute.

She's fascinated with the demon summoning system and the way we're able to acquire magic and abilities from them, so she does a lot of work on the technology surrounding that.

[her eyes widen a little and she visibly perks up at that.]

I guess that does sound like something I'd want to study if I lived in your world.

What are these 'demons' like, anyway?

Well, they're mostly based off mythological figures and legends. So they range from animal-looking to human-like to.. er. Indescribable.
