[ Hi, Beau. Otome is looking a wee bit tired, but she's unable to sit still, so she'll run into her sooner rather than later, blinking as she catches sight of her. ]

[beau's sort of just standing and staring up at the sky, frowning. her hands are jammed in her pockets.]

... As okay as I can be, I think. [ Quietly. ] Are you?

[hmm. she shrugs a little.]

Yeah. I'm not sad. I didn't know him. But I'm pissed that it happened, and I'm pissed that we're being fucked with.

[momming]

I'm never fond of the loss of a life, though we also didn't ever talk.

So yes, I think I could safely say I'm also rather angry.

... We've gotta do something about it. If nobody else will, we have to figure out what happened.

Finding out who murdered him?

... I'm not sure I'm the best person to play detective but it's true that I want to learn the truth. Whoever did this.. I don't want them to think they can get away with it.

[she nods, and then:]

It's fine, it's practically my job at home to figure out this sort of shit. I'm not a detective or anything, but I owe it to the kid that got killed.

Your job? Did things like this happen often?
