Kainé is looking as mad as ever, but she pauses when she sees Otome. She takes a few steps to approach but stops before getting anywhere too close. ]

Otome?

[ Has the doctor been looked over yet? ]

[ She sure has! She might be wrapped in a blanket now, actually. ]

[ She just looks... tired. ]

[ It's not that she thinks Otome will bite, but her experience is that most people aren't comfortable with her. ]

[ She's in the health office and organizing things again, when-- ]

Oh, hello! You're not feeling ill, are you? Or were you also interested in first aid?

[ She isn't the type to get colds, at least. ]

I don't know if I'd be any good at it, but I want to learn.

I'd be happy to teach you! Was there anything specific, or should we just start at the beginning?

week 3, friday

[ Kainé isn't running around dramatically, but she is at least better dressed for winter than she usually is. She wasn't used to cold before here and her CYOA adventure both helped with that.

She stops when she sees Otome. ]

It'd be better if you caught all the dumbass boys.

... How are you feeling, Kainé? Is there anything I can help with?

[ She says that simply, like it'd be so easy. ]

I'm not great. [ There's no use pretending, but. ] Maybe more of my injuries can be wrapped, so everyone doesn't have to see.

[ Her various healed burns and cuts and frostbite and bruises. It's to the state of at least "moderately healed," and nothing looks raw anymore, but it's still not great for anyone to look at. ]

I can apply some ointment on your cuts, too. But I can certainly bandage as much as I can.

You gave us all a scare yesterday, though I know it was entirely unintentional.

Yeah, I don't ask to get the shit beaten out of me on the regular.

Week 4, Friday

[ Well. If Kainé is looking for her, she's just. Sitting in front of her INCREASINGLY EMPTY dorm.

... Looking a little like she just wants to die. Hi!! ]

Kainé stops in front of her. There is a pinch of concern. Okay, it feels like more than a pinch. ]

[ She is pretty sure the honest answer is no. ]

... Well, I have been worse, I think, but this hasn't been... ideal.
