I don't know if I'd be any good at it, but I want to learn.

Simple enough! Have you ever had to treat someone's injuries, Kainé?

Then I'm glad. Let's focus on cleaning the wound first-- before bandaging, if we're lucky and have the time so, the important thing is to make sure it doesn't get infected.

... Okay. What’s used to clean the wounds?

Antiseptic, alcohol swabs... in a worst-case scenario, water, but hopefully we won't reach the point. We just mostly want to make sure no foreign bodies like dirt or bits of the weapon are in the wound.

Once you've cleaned the wound, use clean bandages. You want to make sure they're tight enough to protect the injury, but not too tight that they'll cut off circulation.

week 3, friday

[ Kainé isn't running around dramatically, but she is at least better dressed for winter than she usually is. She wasn't used to cold before here and her CYOA adventure both helped with that.

She stops when she sees Otome. ]

I'm not great. [ There's no use pretending, but. ] Maybe more of my injuries can be wrapped, so everyone doesn't have to see.

[ Her various healed burns and cuts and frostbite and bruises. It's to the state of at least "moderately healed," and nothing looks raw anymore, but it's still not great for anyone to look at. ]
