[Well, Molly is just wandering the campus on Friday, sort of idly toying with the bear slipper he's apparently reponsible for - but when Otome is around he'll look up, waving over to her with it.]
I'm far from talented at apologies, but I'm fairly certain you don't have to make them for being tortured by a powerful magical kidnapper against your will.
[hi Otome. Wherever she's hanging out, Molly will brighten up when he sees her - coming over and just trying to be helpful immediately? If she's walking around with books or a bag or anything, trying to take them to carry himself.]
[Wherever Otome is, Molly will brighten up the second he sees her - coming over to just immediately sling an arm around her shoulders? Touchy-feely week, man. It's a thing.]
[ Wherever Molly is when Otome runs into him, he doesn't deserve this.
But it happens, anyway.
She's on her back, one hand on her chest, the other with her fingers weakly grasping at the ground. The air is thick with the smell of blood and smoke and even in her current position, she can see the flames rise higher and higher, joining together and consuming each other.
Worse, as she feebly turns her head to the side, gasping for breath that she can't ever fully pull into her lungs, she sees crumpled bodies. Some, still trying to push themselves up. Some, screaming in agony. A girl with long red hair in a ponytail, shielding a smaller girl, unmoving while the younger girl shoves at her and cries out her name. A young boy, scowl still twisted on his face, practically eviscerated. These people are all precious, all important.
And she can't even lift a finger to help them. She's bleeding out on the chunk of debris she'd been slammed into, feeling the blood pool beneath her and around her, and she knows, without a doubt.
She's going to die. But they-- if they fell here, Arcturus would destroy everyone and everything. If they fell here, "he" would never be able to return and if they fall here...
She's terrified. But it's too late and soon enough, even that emotion is replaced by nothing but darkness. ]
[The worst thing about this is that it's not all that unfamiliar of a memory. Shades of familiar sights and sounds permeate it, make it all a little too real again.
It takes him a long moment to snap back into it reality, stepping back and rubbing at his temples.]
Good evening, darling. I'm contacting you tonight with an important message. With our time here possibly coming to a close soon, I thought I needed to say something before our paths began to part again, and we drift away like two ships passing into the night. You have consumed my every thought for weeks. I've been pining for you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The truth is, is that I've fallen madly in love with you.
Fixation, rapid palpitation of the myocardium, and sudden impulse to act out of an inexplicable desperation. I'm afraid I have to diagnose you with Breathless Syndrome, more commonly known as BS.
I'd like to prescribe you plenty of sleep, hydration and a healthy dose of reality, of which I can write you the prescription for any time.
Week 0, Sunday
Hello, Mollymauk. How are you feeling today?

Oh, much better, much better. Sorry, caught me in a rather terrible mood the other day. A little embarrassing at this point.
