[and as promised, a little bit after the text taichi will bound his way up to summer dorm and look for where otome is. he has his backpack and his tie...is a red color instead of purple. hm.
he will plop down next to her and grin.]
Pretty soon it's gonna be too cold to sit out here, isn't it?
[there's a shrug. he also seems to be pulling out two to-go cups from the cafeteria out of his backpack carefully before offering one to otome. it's coffee if she wants it.]
...after all of those people came back on Thursday and we were still forced to return to our own dorms, I realized this was going to become a new normal. Yamato asked me to switch not long after we got here and I said I wanted to wait to see if the lockdown on Thursday would happen again. After it did, I decided to switch.
It probably feels that way, doesn't it? You guys have had a rough start. [it's been summer for both the death and the execution, except otome at least survived. he won't point that out, but he's aware.]
The cancelled Wiwaldi pilot script. [yeah.] When I went to talk to Chad about swapping yesterday, he offered to let me buy some papers he and the other dorm heads managed to get. It was a concept for, like, a TV show? It talked about places like the City, the Capital, and the Islands and how Wiwaldi was preparing for the dorm wars for Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Starring the chaddiest Chad, the chatty Sally, the brooding Luke and the overeager Viola.
It had editor notes, too. Like swapping the bees out for geese, the storyline being overdone and needing to be edgier, making the principal a bear to appeal to a different audience and that the cast was too small so they needed to expand it.
It also had a copy of the acceptance letter we got.
That's what I was wondering, too. [a little too convenient.] It's the first time that thing started working and that's the first message we get? It lines up a little too perfectly.
I believe enough, at least. It puts some context to what Hanayagi said too about how we should be playing along and be nicer to the dorm heads. I don't know if it's everything, but I don't think we should rule out the possibility this is true.

[ She glances at him, taking in the tie. ]
You changed dorms, Taichi-kun?
no subject
[but ah...]
Yeah. I asked Chad and Luke about swapping yesterday. It worked out.

[ as she accepts the coffee with a sad smile and a grateful nod.
RIP summer. ]

I wonder if people will swap now that the numbers are starting to get unbalanced and we've officially met the dorm heads. Sally seems nice enough.

... Though I can't help but wonder if people are starting to think we're cursed.

Hopefully that changes soon.

Anyway, you didn't come here to hear me sigh, right?

Has anybody told you about the cancelled Wiwaldi pilot script yet?

[ No, listen, she has a ton of other questions but that comes first. ]
