[the nice thing is that this is all pretty brainless for him, autopilot motions to keep his body moving and busy. when he spots otome though he stops, changing direction to jog over to her with the ball.]

He should've shut up while he was ahead. [flatly. but after a moment he just...kind of sighs.] ...we haven't gotten into a physical fight in a while. Usually it's just like that before one of us walks away.
[at some point when she's walking back to her dorm, taichi seems to walk up beside her and fall into step with her. he's quiet for a bit, but he seems to be thinking.]
...you know. Just when I thought this place couldn't get worse, I was proven wrong.
[ Well, she's healed him-- in very minor ways, but at least it's better than what she could do without him. But Otome still wants to treat the rest of him, so here they are at some point as she pulls out bandages. ]
Really, at this point, this is getting unforgivable...
[class is over for the morning, so taichi enters the hall and he pauses long enough to try and decide what he wants to do. as he's standing there pondering though, he sees someone down the hall. he's quick to walk down the hallway and as soon as he gets close enough otome will probably feel someone's pleased emotions before she hears him.]
[ ... She hasn't seen Taichi (and she was unconscious for a good chunk of yesterday) and maybe it's just out of habit that she texts him. She's not in any kind of calm place at the moment, so this is probably better. ]
i feel like i should be asking you that you're the one who came back yesterday...and it's your dorm i'm not rebuffing i promise i'm fine but are you okay? do you need anything? how are you feeling? are the others taking care of you and nier?
[today's execution was, as usual, a lot. after everything's all said and done though, taichi wanders off in search of someone important. it takes some time to track her down, but after scouring the woods, he stumbles upon otome.]
