Mm... well, then I'd say it wouldn't hurt to try a second one, just to investigate. Have you talked to your Dorm Head about this list?

I asked about it, but I didn't get much of an answer. Apparently the principal just picks based on whatever criteria he feels like.

At least the alternative would make sense. [sometimes...you are used to being in trouble with your teachers.]

I have a lot of questions for this bear if I ever meet him in person though. This is just at the top of the list now.

Me too. But...I kind of have a feeling it won't make sense for a long time. Especially if they can't even give us proof that we signed up to be here.

Right. [frowning.] Any theories? I've been asking around and a lot of us are coming up blank.

I wish I could offer you anything sound, but right now, I can only think that we're here for a reason that no one feels comfortable disclosing yet.

It doesn't have to be anything sound, I guess. I wanted to see what other people thought since we're all from different situations anyway. Maybe something would stand out.

Well, I don't trust any of it, so... please be careful, all right? The problems I've dealt with aren't quite as confusing as this situation, but I'd like to think I've developed a sense for when things feel off.

This is both confusing and familiar to me, so I'll be fine. You be careful too though. None of us should get too comfortable just yet. Not until we know what to expect.
