[Here's a familiar face in the cafeteria! And he's here poring over this physics textbook. His eyebrows are furrowed so hard they might get stuck like this.]
[When he looks up with a sigh, he notices her and asks, timidly:]
...Otome, I guess you're not an expert on physics, right?
[Honestly, he's felt bad about the whole thing - everyone rushing forward to help Otome after it all, and what could he do? He wasn't some doctor, and neither could he offer anything reassuring or any words of comfort in the heat of the moment, so...he did nothing.]
[Now, after the day, he's finally returned back to the dorm. If she's here...he doesn't know. Either way, he's walking by the suites, timidly calling out:]
[Well, doctor doctor, here's a patient at the dorm...except probably not her type of patient. Maybe Mandricardo needs like, a therapist, because he's looking rough, what with reddened eyes and streaked cheeks and all. When he spots Otome, he looks almost embarrassed, looking away.]
[ She is. Not going back to the dorm until all of the Summers have been located, and of course she can't find Mandricardo and it's freezing but Otome is on a mission.
And finally, finally, she locates him, breathing a little heavily and one hand pressed to her ribs, in one of the classrooms. ]
[Mandricardo is humming a bit as he walks between classes, before he stops when he sees Otome. There's actually...some happiness from him? Underneath is an undercurrent of Constant Depression but...he seems to be in a good mood.]
[And here returns the prodigal son! Mandricardo's steps are slow as he walks towards the dorm. The storm of emotion from before has died down a little bit, but still, there's grief, anger, heartbreak. But his face is remarkably passive.]
[They've probably dragged him to the infirmary by now. Here's Mandricardo - he definitely looks better, out of his armor, and is less crispy, though he still has burns over his face and chest and arms.]
[He sits there, quiet - his emotions seem a swirling of pain and sorrow - for Catra, especially - though there's some wariness, too, as he looks over at Otome.]
[ Otome's emotions are-- well, a lot. Concern and care and grief and exhaustion and self-loathing and all of that fun stuff. But she answers him levelly enough as she brings more bandages over, sincerely. ]
I want to. I'm sorry that it had to be me who treated you.
[ She's... concerned? Of course she is. He's not really in the best shape to not be resting back at the dorm and although Otome is reluctant to cause him any more emotional discomfort. Still.
She can't leave him alone, so she's on the hunt to find him.
[ Well, she looked like she hadn't slept at all yesterday but at least she's looking much more revived today.
But given everything, also just rather grim as she sits on the couch and looks at what appears to be a letter with very little written on it. There's also an unmarked envelope in her lap and she's muttering quietly. ]
Tomorrow...
[ But then she looks up, catching sight of Mandricardo, and politely averts her gaze. ]
[Sometimes you have an emotional breakdown like days before and then you see the same person after stabbing a whole NPC and you're...actually giving a wave?]
